June 2015 Canadian Young Living Promos!

I'm always excited on the first of the month to check in and see what the Promo is for Young Living this month.

We're honouring Dad this month with some fabulous oils he will love!

And here's the breakdown, with earning levels.

300 PV Reward

Retail Value: $140.45

Order 300 PV and receive a free 15-ml bottle of Copaiba essential oil, a 15-ml bottle of Wintergreen essential oil AND a 5-ml bottle of PanAway essential oil!
15-ml Copaiba essential oil: Copaiba is a soothing oil that is commonly used after physical activity.
15-ml Wintergreen essential oil: Wintergreen is known for its soothing properties, particularly when used in massage.
5-ml PanAway essential oil: This unique essential oil blend contains wintergreen and clove essential oils which are widely used to promote relaxation.

190 PV Reward

Retail Value: $91.44

Order 190 PV and receive a free 15-ml bottle of Copaiba essential oil and a 15-ml bottle of Wintergreen essential oil!

Now, generally there is a 250 PV level as well, but this month they're jumping from 190 straight to 300.  Please feel free to contact me at thepureoil@gmail.com with any questions you might have regarding PV etc.
In the US PV is equal to the dollar amount of the product.  However, due to the exchange rate in Canada, the PV is not equivalent to the cost of the products, but once you're in the site it calculates clearly both the PV and the cost of your order easily.

Now a little bit about why I Love these three oils in particular...

Copaiba Distilled from gum resin that is wild harvested from Brazilian copaiba, copaiba contains the highest amounts of beta caryophyllene (55 percent) of any known essential oil.
This is one of my most favourite oils.  For one thing the scent is light and lovely. Some essential oils have fantastic therapeutic qualities which make them awesome to have, but they don't always smell delightful if you know what I mean. (Take Goldenrod for example.  LOVE the oil for it's therapeutic qualities, not so much for the scent!)
Copaiba is also an enhancer oil.  It's the one oil that you can use to extend and amplify any of the other oils.  It has natural anti-inflammatory properties which make it exceptional for sore muscles.
It can also be taken internally, and really isn't offensive even if taken as a drop under the tongue.  I use Copaiba to extend and strengthen the therapeutic properties of more expensive oils, such as Frankincense and Myrrh, Helichrysum and any of the expensive florals like Melissa, Rose and Jasmine.

Wintergreen  Wintergreen has a sweet, minty scent distilled from the fresh leaves in China. This oil is known for its soothing properties, particularly when used in massage.
Wintergreen smells like a Canadian winter to me.  You can use it to make a tiger-balm like salve that is excellent for sore, tired and achy muscles.  It's a strong ingredient in the PanAway.  Add some Copaiba to the blend and you are really going love the effects!
On its own blended with a carrier oil it's excellent for massage.
I love to diffuse this one for an invigorating, clean scent in the house when I don't want citrus or pepperminty smells. It's a great one to mix it up!
I also use this one just a drop in my stainless steel sink to shine it after I've scrubbed it.  It makes it shine and it smells divine!

PanAway  PanAway® contains wintergreen and clove essential oils. These oils or their active components are widely used in massage after physical activity.
PanAway is best remembered as "Pain-Away".  It's a blend that contains Helichrysum, which is known to be an exceptionally healing oil. Click HERE to learn a little more about the incredible benefits of Helichrysum.
PanAway is a fantastic smelling blend that is both wintery and somewhat medicinal.  With peppermint, clove and wintergreen it really does smell lovely, and the added Helichrysum is a powerhouse for supporting the body's ability to heal itself.
PanAway is an expensive blend, mostly because of the Helichrysum, but you can always do half PanAway and half Copaiba to extend it. :)
Of course, PanAway can also be used to make a salve, and I will in a future post, show you exactly how to do just that.  Stay tuned.

All in all, June is a fantastic time to get in on Young Living, as the Canadian starter kits are still containing both Valor and Peace and Calming, and the line up of Free goods available this month are definitely on my short list of wouldn't want to be without's!
